Saddle nameplate to replace Pessoa logo plate using existing holes?

Greetings!

I have a Pessoa Gen-X saddle that has the standard Pessoa Logo plate on it.

I’d like to put a customized nameplate on it using the existing holes, which are about 1.5" apart (much smaller than a standard saddle nameplate).

Has anyone found one that fits using the existing holes from the Pessoa plate?

I see one at Swanky Saddles that measures 1.6"L x .6"H, which sounds about right, but I’d prefer not to spend $35.

Thanks!

Could you take the existing plate to a shop that makes sports trophies and explain to them what you need? Those folks make name plates of all shapes and sizes.

That’s a great idea!

I replaced a name plate on a saddle with one from Quillin - just called them to explain that I needed the holes on plate and saddle to line up, measured, and they did it. Came out perfect, and it’s a beautiful plate.

Thank you! I found the web site for Quillin Leather & Tack - I’ll check it out.

Haltertags. Com or on ebay. They can cut and drill the size you need, in either brass or silver. They engrave deep, which I prefer to those shallow laser engraved things.
