Can someone make me one of these that will hold 2 -3 dressage saddle pads? 27 x 47 x 3
I can’t find anything big enough already made. I am struggling with keeping my pads organized and clean at shows. Plus I am breaking up with my gearmax bag. IT’s great and hold everything only once it’s packed I can’t pick it up and I need to be able to load and unload my trailer.

I use a garbage bag

bag from https://www.containerstore.com/s/storage/all-purpose-storage-bags/1d?productId=10008441 was mentioned in that thread and may be large enough for you.

That looks like it’s 26 x 26, so close but not quite. But The Container Store… great idea and we have one in the city so I may have to make a shopping trip!

How about a clothing garment bag?

I also need one of those! I need to find someone who sews I think.

Scroll down farther! They come in different sizes. I have one, probably the 32", and it holds plenty of pads with room to spare.

I have a half bale bag from horse.com that works perfectly for saddle pads and sheets and coolers to take to a show.

Artwork Shipper Boxes would work, not cheap but readily available off the shelf

(we used the garbage bag method)

I use an old clear vinyl zippered case that a new turn-out blanket arrived in. Some of these are not rectangular enough, but this one was.

I use giant size, zip lock bags. Our local dollar store stocks very heavy weight, self sealing bags with built in handles for carry. Each bag easily hold 4 saddle pads. Easy to see which pads are in which bag, and everything stays clean.

A dressage-pad sized version of that saddle pad carrier is a great idea. I’ve tried a few things (giant ziploc, duffel, stall-front blanket bag) but nothing has been quite right.

I might attempt to make something like this for myself once my sewing backlog gets smaller (turnouts have been altered/mended in time for the snow – now onto a baby quilt for my sister). I’ll let you know if it turns out … although I suspect that the raw material costs as a home sewist will not compare favorably to the Schneider’s price. Zippers are annoyingly expensive when economies of scale are not on your side!

X-Halt salute please let me know if yours turns out, I would be willing to fork out a bit if it was the the right size and easy to carry.

The Ziplock bag idea may be a great stop gap till I can convince xhs to make me one

Dressage Extensions has one (listed without dimensions):

Or StateLine Tack has a Kensington one (listed with dimensions):

Or a custom one (listed without dimensions):

The dressage extensions one is slightly smaller than what i was looking for. I just bookmarked the ZIky one because I just bought all the materials to make one myself. Pinterest Fail highly likely but shrug… why not?
