Saddle Pad for Abetta Endurance?

Can someone recommend a saddle pad that will fit an Abetta Serenity Endurance? Most of the pads I’ve found online are way too big for my mare. She has a short back and the pads extend over her butt.

Thanks!

When I had that type of saddle I used a Reinsman contoured (rounded edges also) trail pad under it. On a 14 hand pony, it wasn’t too big. Good Luck!

Skito will make you a custom pad, and I don’t think they charge extra for the custom part. If you tell them what type of saddle you have and that you have a short backed horse, Tom at Skito can get you the right pad. They have all the saddle pad patterns for different saddles, I think.

Also, a woolback pad might work well for you. My woolback isn’t too long.

Wool Back is what my gal pal uses with her Abetta, and her new spec saddle.

That’s what I have.

Thanks, it looks like it will work.

Measure your saddle carefully – if that one is too long, they can make it shorter for only a little extra $$. I recently got that pad from Long Riders Gear, and I ordered it to be 23" along the spine instead of 27".

Good to know. Thanks.

Got Gait (me too), (I am riding a rocky these days)

Yes, that is the pad.

I ride my Solstice with a woolback. She is the lady who suggested, and I did, and never looked back. They last forever. Mine does have girth straps for my girth. Maybe because mine is an AP type. I do not think she ordered one specially made. IOW what they have on their sizes worked fine.

Long Riders Gear can get you whatever options you need – high wither, 1/2" vs 1" wool, velcro for inserts, girth straps, etc. If you don’t see the options you need on the product page, try emailing them directly. They’re super helpful.
