I bought an Ideal Jessica used for me and my mount and it fits us just lovely. Im so impressed once this one is outgrown I will be looking further into purchasing another Ideal. I have heard some Ideal advertised specifically as having a “DT Tree.”
This one is stamped “DT Tree” on the stirrup bar.
What are the specific features of this tree? And are they different from some other standard trees used on Ideals?.. Kind of like H&C trees ( I know what those are).
Anyone have experience with these?
Thanks!
I had a Jessica Ideal and loved the saddle. When I had a question about it, emailed the company in England.
Ideal is a very under rated saddle company here in the states. They are great saddles.
Yes I wound up finding this one in UK + shipping was still a few hundred dollars cheaper than trying to find one here in the US. Any saddle that fits you and horse is worth every penny.
And I believe what I’ve found is DT Trees are for flatter wider less
Curvy backs, and manufactured by Harry Dobbs. Which explains why it works for my guy.
