Saddles similar to Kent and Masters?

I just had a fitter out yesterday to try a Kent and Masters s series jump. My horse absolutely loved it and I really want to purchase one but the fitter said it won’t be available for 3-4 months. I just don’t know what to do. I don’t want to pay to have another brand of saddle fitted but it looks like that’s my only option unless I want to wait that long. I can’t ride in my current saddle, it does not fit her anymore. Does anyone have any advice? What brands fit similarly? She’s an OTTB, needs a medium wide with gussets. What else should I consider?

I would ask your fitter. Personally, I’d pick up a used Thorowgood to use until the Kent and Masters would be in. They’re made by the same company and fit nearly identically.

You could take the above suggestion or shop around. Are there any used ones out there? Sometimes shipping on a new or used one from the UK is quite reasonable and quick. The saddle might even cost less than in the US.

They’re not a saddle that you can go insane on customization wise, so shopping for a used one shouldn’t be terrible.

After searching and emailing suppliers all day I found a small saddlery in the UK that has it in my size and they’ll install the correct gullet for me and ship it!
