I have these two saddles that I’m trying to learn more about. One is a Simco 15" seat, 6&3/4" gullet barrel saddle. The other is a Saddle King 16" seat, 7" gullet, red, white and blue barrel saddle. I’m trying to find out how much they might be worth.
Ebay or your local tack store that does consignment might be able to tell you!
Agree with BlueDrifter. Ebay or maybe horsesaddleshop.com or another consignment dealer could show you what similar saddles are selling for.
The Simco is worth $250-300 if it’s sound, straight and clean.
The Saddle King is worth around $150 if it’s clean, no stains on the white etc. I have ridden in those exact saddles, and my close friend has purchased many of them for her equine parade unit for less than $150.
I am not an expert, that’s just what they are going for from personal experience and some quick research online.
For the Simco, I would say around the $400 mark (give or take) provided it has been taken care of and is in good shape.
