Sagamore Hill Joint meet - pro photos

Last Saturday, 10/23/10, Myopia hosted the Wentworth Hunt at Sagamore Hill. What a glorious day!

You can go here, http://spectrumphotography.photostockplus.com/ to view professional photos from the meet. Click on the image for the Sagamore Hill meet, put in your name and email (don’t worry, the photographer doesn’t spam) and you can see the album.

If you find page 6, photo number 269, you’ll see my mare and I over a coup.

The hounds were cast at 2:30pm and we did not dismount until 6:15pm! What a fabulous hunt. Enjoy the photos.

Pretty!

Wonderful pictures! Thank you for sharing. Loved the leopard appy! and that blue dun! And one of those girls greys is a fabulous jumper! Wow! gorgeous place.

I was there too. It was a truly amazing autumn day with probably a hundred riders, spectacular scenery, super fun riding and great work by the hounds and staff.

Here is another album from the hunt that captures the beautiful day: http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/thumbpage.aspx?e=7331133

Definitely worth breezing through.

Enjoy!

I was there as well and had a fantastic time ! I have to say I spent way too much $ buying way too many of John’s pics! He does such a nice job !

Great to hear from others that were there! I had heard that there were 75-80 horses and riders…quite the showing!

I totally sympathize with spending too much money on John’s photos. He takes such great shots, I can’t pass them up!

What gorgeous pictures! Your hounds are beautiful, and it was especially nice to see some young riders out there, too! Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks for sharing, Daatje. What color is your horse – black? What a beautiful fixture!

You’re welcome! I love looking at hunt photos, and thought others might as well. Takes me back to the moment.

My horse is black, however when she’s bodyclipped, her coat turns to some sort of mousey chocolate with dapples.

I love our joints with Myopia, they do have such nice territory!

While we’re on the subject of photos, if you want to see more of what my hunt has been up to this season, go to www.wentworthhunt.org and click on the photo gallery.

I’ve been taking the camera out into the field and snapping shots during the hunt. I think that the album from 10/13 Garrison House Farm was mostly contributed by myself from the saddle.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed them!
