I ordered last Friday (March 2), and got an email order confirmation the same day. Everything was listed that I had ordered, with the right quantity.
Fast forward to this week, haven’t gotten anything yet, and finally am able to check my order online. The two spurs I ordered say “Pending”, and the gloves and clippers I ordered say “Shipped” with quantity and price as zero! I assume that means they are sold out of them now!? I ordered pretty early, so I am annoyed if people who ordered after me got some of that stuff!
I understand that patience is needed with a sale like this, but I feel the store should have realized the order potential with these types of discounts and adjusted their workforce/organization accordingly (or at least processed orders in the order they were received, which it doesn’t sound like they did).
Now I need to check my credit card to see if anything has been charged yet…
Just to let you know there is still some stuff available online… My Heritage paddock boots that I ordered Wednesday shipped yesterday, so they are still fulfilling internet orders and aren’t sold out of everything.
Good luck trying to get any kind of reply from the store, I’ve been on the phone trying to get someone to talk to me for 2 days now. :mad: :mad: :mad:
Actually, after only getting a helmet and not the two pairs of ariats I ordered, I (crazily? naively?) placed a second order yesterday for a pair of ariat paddock boots. I wrote in the comments if my size wasn’t available, to send the next half size up. I got an email a few hours later saying the size I want was only available in black, and would I like them. I said yes, and got the shipping confirmation this morning. Go figure. I got no communication, including no shipping confirmation, on the helmet I got from the first order. Really odd.
I think they’ve finally got them sh*t together. hey I’m happy with what I got…funny, it was the little nothing things that I didn’t get. But i got my helmet, half chaps and saddle pad and right quick!
Well, I did hear back from them about my order- and everything I ordered is sold out :no:

I still haven’t received my order, nor heard back from them (contacted via e-mail and phone). Everything I ordered (that is still ordered), says pending next to it on their website. I’ll assume I’m not getting any of it!
Well, I got my order yesterday, but only one thing out of the 6 that I ordered. I didn’t receive any notice that I wasn’t getting my full order, not until I thought, “Hm, that box is small for all that stuff!”
Obviously they didn’t charge my card for anything but the surcingle I got, so nothing shady, but I do with that I’d known I wasn’t getting everything else…would have gone to buy the side reins elsewhere at least.
As I said, I ordered early Thursday (March 1st) right after the sale was posted. I received an order confirmation and then nothing. I called when I had not received my order and was told my order had been cancelled because they were sold out. I did not receive an apology or an email. Additionally, the person I spoke with was rude. There is no way they were sold out as early as I ordered … just bad business on their part.
I will not do business with them in the future. I have gotten just as good of deals on Ebay.
I stopped by the store today on the way to the barn. They still have a bunch of heavy blankets left if anyone needs one. They also have various medium weight, lighter weight blankets, and baker sheets left. They also still have some saddle pads and a few bridles, martingales, girths, and halters. There is a decent selection of bell boots. I couldn’t resist and bought a pair of rubber bell boots with velcro–they were maybe $10. They had very little grooming stuff left, but I did pick up a small curry comb for a face/head at $1. They were much less busy today, as most things are sold out, so hopefully people shouldn’t have a problem getting through by phone. If there are things you guys want, call and see if you can order over the phone because obviously not everything is on the internet.
I’m torn. I placed 3 orders on Thursday. I got the first order: a GPA and a pair of Dansko clogs. Couldn’t beat the price. But I know that I ordered stuff on Friday before it was sold out (baker sheet, bridle, boots, ear pom poms, no-bows, etc.) and it was “pending” forever and then canceled.
So I’m happy I got the GPA and the shoes, but I wish I had gotten the rest of the stuff…
I really think they needed to honor the people that place their orders first thing. I place my thursday evening. I didn’t order anything expensive or popular and didn’t get it. They have bad customer service and imo they should get bought out because beval would have done a way better job on a sale like this… I’m sorry but they cancelled people orders and than people who placed there orders on sunday and monday got their stuff??? WTF :mad:

I agree with Smiles. I placed my order on Friday 2nd and got a conf email. That is the last I have heard even though I have emailed and called at least twice each. My order never even came up on the tracking page. Items I ordered were still being offered when their website went back online but they did not send me a single thing. Very disappointing service.
You guys are rough! Gees, give the store a break. They have had tons of customers in the store every day, and internet orders on top of it all. They don’t have some giant warehouse where the inventory is connected to the website. They are just a regular store with a website. Also, the things that most people don’t think of as popular, are actually the most popular. They still have many big ticket items–bridles, saddles, blankets, etc. they still have more horse boots left than I would have expected. They are nearly completely sold out of grooming items, leather care, supplements, bathing items, etc. All those little things that you don’t think of as popular actually are!
Rough, well, my order was placed on the 3rd, emailed that it had shipped, with no word on what was coming or not. It arrived this week. Of all the items that had been ordered, only one came. The Perri’s jumping bat, that on sale was 2.98. Shipping was over 7.50, so I managed to pay more than $10 for a bat whose original price was 5.98. A load of crap. I would have canceled the entire order. The crop was put on as just an afterthought anyway.
Excess shipping costs
My experience was like Utah’s. I ordered a child’s safety vest, a nice leather jumping bat, and three el cheapo crops. I got an e-mail saying the order was shipped. My order arrived. They sent me the three cheapo crops. The shipping was more than the cost of the crops. Had I been told that the one item I really wanted – the vest – was unavailable, I would have canceled the order.
What were they thinking? I suspect like many other folks, I threw in the el cheapo crops in my order as an after-thought, but the main order was that safetly vest.
Live and learn. At least my 9 year old likes the crops.

I had a slightly different situation. I placed three different orders at different points during the week. One was cancelled, and one is still pending. I did, however, receive one order - 4 items of the 6 I ordered, which I thought was pretty good. Then I looked at the items.
They got the sizes wrong on every single item I ordered. All 4. Several phone calls and e-mails later… still no response.
