Okay I tried on a very comfy Samshield helmet at a show last weekend and fell in love. I am however, not in love with price so I am doing some online shopping for a better deal.
It is my understanding that many of the Samshield helmets have the same size shell, just the liners are slightly thicker/thinner to make for different helmet sizes. So would the shell for a size 6 5/8 be the same shell for a size 7?

I think, but I’m not 100 percent, that there are three different shell sizes (S, M, L) and then the liners match up to the specific sizes.
I love mine. Best helmet I’ve ever worn!

Basically three shell sizes, different between US and European shells. Dover has a size chart, too, and they show that 6 7/8 can be either a small or medium shell.
3 shell sizes 6 7/8 goes small or medium.
yup. 3 shell sizes. Liners to fit specific sizes that can be changed as needed.
