I’m my area Standlee just changed their alfalfa pellets and they’re literally un feedable. They’re up to 2 inches long and don’t soak at all. Even in hot hot water they stay a hard pellet to the point my horse was refusing his feed. I spoke with a few other ppl who experienced the same and we all ended up switching brands.

Can’t say I’ve ever purchased the pellets only the cubes and so far no issues with them not soaking well with hot water.
