Saw a report on ESPN on sunday that said Santa Anita was an internment camp for Japanese Americans after pearl harbor anybody have anymore information about it?? I am interested to learn why they chose that race track and what they went through while there.

The book Seabiscuit also covers this topic. And it seems like I remember hearing on an episode of Jockeys last season that one of Corey Nakatani’s grandparents was interned at Santa Anita.
