Is this auction real or a scam? What was he suspended for?
Well… listed on the FEI website as PR: 11.07.2018 . No explanation, but the suspension seems to have been in place for a while. I have no idea if this is real, but the person who posted it (FB) has their phone number listed to inquire about further details so you could always call 
Their Instagram post says that due to the cost of appealing the suspension they are having the fire sale. He is listed on FEI as suspended. I assume it is real as they have posted videos of sales horses.
But really 1.5m horses for 15k or am I reading that wrong?!

Not involved in any way, but if it’s an auction that is probably just the opening bid and will very likely go MUCH higher for that caliber horse.
It just says 15K opening bid. They will go for higher and it did not say if there was a reserve or not.
Is there a list of the horses being auctioned off?
