Savannah Cats?

Does anyone have one?? My SO has fallen in love and convinced that we need one. We’re looking at an F2 cross female kitten.

What are their temperaments like? We live in a large 2 bedroom apartment. I have a 3yo Beagle mix who is about 35lbs. She’s very well behaved around cats and loves to play. From what I’ve researched, Savannah cats seem to get along well with dogs.

I have researched laws in my state and town and it legal to own one since it’s not an F1 cross.

Search, Hon, there was a thread about them not too long ago.

It covered many aspects of the breed in it’s various stages of domestication.

BTW, the Gent for whom the poster inquired LOVED his cat!

They are beautiful but from my experience they are way more busy/active than a regular domestic cat probably because of their higher intelligence. This can translate into more destructiveness as well. Lately, I’ve seen many being walked in public areas on leashes which is neat to see.
