Save the Beebe ranch (Misty of Chincoteague)

The Chincoteague Museum needs $625,000 to purchase the ranch outright. Beebe family needs the money to care for aging family, and the upkeep of the property is getting to be too much for them.

My parents, under the guise of Santa, gave me the Breyer models of Misty and Stormy and a set of the Misty books when I was seven. That Christmas gift is what made me horse mad for life. Time to make good on that debt.

I donated as the Misty books provided me hope that one day I would own my own pony. Didn’t happen til I was a young adult, but all the horse books I read kept my dream alive.

The Museum is doing a great job raising the needed funding! But they need more people to contribute. There is currently a donor who will match the next $100K in donations, so now is a good time to contribute if you want to.
