Does anyone have any experience with Save The Horses out of Georgia? I’m interested in possibly fostering and later on adopting through them within the next few months. I’m looking for any insight into dealing with them, whatever your experience is or was. I don’t want to walk into anything blind or get in over my head.
They are very well established and in my view, reputable.
Have you ever worked with them or rescued from them? I’ve only found good things so far when looking, but they’ve been from awhile (several years) back.
Cheryl is a terrific lady, who runs a VERY reputable rescue. She’s worked with Lori from Sunkissed Acres for many years, tag-teaming on horses that need help.
Cheryl and her crew came to the barn I used to board at to round-up a horse that needed to be re-homed but had been almost untouched. Handled very professionally and kindly.
