I’ll admit I don’t know Tomas Lindberg or his music (and never heard of the breed “North Swedish horse”), but he sounds like our kinda guy.
Good interview from the Onion AV Club (it’s for real, not an Onion satire).

Cool! Pretty horse too!
As a metalhead, I have to say that article was downright adorable. :love-struck:
I’ll have to show this to hubby who is really into metal but not so much into horses…
And yes, definitely adorable and very heartfelt:
“It’s my goal to be more involved. I’ve been riding him—not in a trot or anything—more in a walk. It still feels like you’re doing stuff together with the horse, which is very rewarding. But it’s very low level. A horse person would probably laugh at this, but it’s more about how I’m just amazed that he gives me so much even if I’m still learning.”
He is like my husband - just loves being around our mare. Buys her wintergreens, strokes her, finds her ticky spots, does the late night feedings and spends more time out there that would actually be necessary. He will do the chores, hitch the trailer and lead her in. What was cute the other day, he put the halter on with the throatlatch done up on the wrong part of the halter.
He just likes to do it, but never learned how.
I just showed this to my DH. He loves metal and plays in metal bands. Loves the horses just as much as DD and I. He also has a thing for drafts so he really enjoyed this. Thank you so much!!!
