I’m hoping to get some info on the sport horse reputation of offspring of Scat Daddy and Thunder Gulch? There is an 8yo gelding for sale in Texas (the owner is CLEARLY over-horsed) and a friend and I are considering a project. I know SD died at a young age and there are a handful of his offspring in the USEF database. Some doing eventing and some doing dressage.
There are quite a lot more TG offspring doing various events.
Do these stallions have any sort of reputation siring sport offspring? How are their brains? Any insight anyone can provide is appreciated! I’ll also post in the Racing forum.
Scat Daddy made well balanced, athletic horses. Hennessy is one if the few sources of SC that I like. Thunder Gulch horses tend to be good minded in my experience.
