I had a bad experience with stable sheets from Schneider’s Saddlery’s, and wanted to post a review to let people know about the poor performance of the product, but after several attempts at submitting the review, then waiting the 3-7 days that their site says it will take for them to post, I noticed that it was never posted. I then read through the posted reviews, saw quite a few from the same time frame as mine, but all of those were glowing 5-star reviews. Am I the only person that didn’t previously realize they only post positive reviews of their products? I feel so naive now for trusting their product reviews!
Might be worth sending them an email asking why your review has not been posted.
Many websites have their reviews handled by an outside company.
Hm. Well, I’m unhappy with the cooler I bought so I’ll put up a review. It has nothing to do with the company as the poor design is a manufacturer issue (who the hell lines a fleece cooler in the shoulders with nylon/polyester crap that causes more sweating). Other than fit being on the smaller side, belly area velcro being way too short, and the shoulders the product will be fine – I just have to do a lot of sewing or find someone who I can sell it to before I manipulate it.
I posted a photo of the shoulder in my review and it got a 3* as it might work for someone whose horse doesn’t sweat as bad as he does. I did notice that there are 76 reviews for this product and it has 4.8* which seems kind of odd to me based on at least the shoulder fabric being made of something not breathable and not advertised in the item description. There are absolutely no “cons” listed in these reviews. Everything I’m finding is a 4* or a 5*… curious to see if mine will make it.
Based on my horrendous experiences with Schneider’s Saddlery’s, both in poor product qualities, and customer non-service, I figure the glowing reviews are doctored. I won’t touch them with 10’ pole.
I totally agree with this, I don’t typically buy from them, but lots of people from my barn do, so I took a chance. Ugh. I also think it’s crazy disingenuous that they advertise a “100% satisfaction guarantee!” all over the site, when if you read the fine print, it only applies to new unopened items returned within 30 days of purchase. That’s not a satisfaction guarantee, that’s just a return policy!!
No. It has happened to me, as well as a good friend. When I emailed to ask why my review was not posted, I did not receive a reply.
My review is already up… so they definitely post negative reviews and post them quickly. (https://www.sstack.com/Horse-Blankets-And-Sheets_Coolers-Covers/Dura-Tech-Polar-Fleece-Duo-Fit-Cooler/ mine is top review)
I had a great experience with Schnieder. I asked around on FB and had nothing but glowing reviews for them. I would order from them again without a doubt. I got my item quicker than expected, they shipped the right size and right product.
