Experiences with this blanket ? I have a petite Arab mare and most every blanket except a WB Saxon has a neck opening that is too large. I do not like the Adjustafit feature on the other Schneiders blankets…do the contour collar euro blankets run true to size? Any issues with rubbing out manes?
All my Schneiders blanket are a generous fit. I have a Euro fit, probably 10 yrs old, not sure if it is the contour fit. I liked it because it sat a bit further up on the neck some how and then hung more straight down, so I never got the shoulder rubs some of the other blankets cause.

I have a Stormshield Contour collar for my 14.3 Shagya mare that fits quite well.
I didn’t used to like the Adjusta fit feature much either…but I gave it a try and now I quite like it…the neck rugs cover up the wrinkle it makes in the neckline, which I use if there is precip or windchill. If you aren’t using a neck rug the wrinkle in the neckline is irrelevant. It’s rather nice being able to adjust the neck opening.
And the Schneider blankets I’ve bought have lasted on average 10 years (for the 1680 denier poly, and the ballistic nylon lasts even longer)

Schneiders blankets run pretty much true to size.

I have a rain sheet with the contour neck, like the fit. It doesn’t slide back like many blankets, and seems to free up the shoulders well.
