New to eventing this summer, and LOVE it (hunter/jumper rider here) 
We have 1 schooling series here in Central, OH and I would love to know if there are anymore out there within several hours of Columbus, OH.

If you’re in the Columbus area, you can pretty much get to any part of Ohio within a several hour drive. I know that South Farm (east side of Cleveland) has schooling shows throughout the summer as does Jackie Smith at Stone Gate Farm (Youngstown area).
Indiana has a pretty active local Eventing scene. I know it’s a little further but it’s an option. Seem to recall a few things around Dayton?
If you aren’t already referring to the series in Pataskala, you should check them out. Second the suggestions already listed. As for dayton, unfortunately, there isn’t much at the moment (hopefully in a couple years that will change as I get my new farm up and running). At the moment, there are a couple combined tests and quite often there are clinics at Twin Towers Park in Fairborn sponsored by the Area 8 Adult or Young Rider programs. Member or not, you should check them out. Down near cincinnati there are a couple mini trials I think put on by a local pony club.

It was the first time my horse and I have ever done Cross country, and found out we both love it

Walnut Creek Pony Club in Cincinnati has a mini trial every year but this year, they changed it to a combined trial.
The Louisville area has the whole Fleur De Lis Series which is run excellent. But that’s probably closer to 4 hours. http://www.42fleurdelis.com/
Centerline Stables in Greencastle IN puts on some schooling shows http://www.centerlinestables.net/
And there a quite a few schooling shows in Lexington Ky which is just over 3 hours from Columbus.
Check out the Northeast Ohio Mini Trial Series! They have several nice unrecognized events that wouldn’t be all that far from where you are.
