Seems like this product is suddenly unavailable everywhere. It is indispensable! Does anyone know why it’s gone missing? Any suggestions for an alternative to wound care?
I used it once - so long ago I forget what was being treated. But I got a bit on a paper cut I had & it burned like heck!
For wounds I’d use any topical suited to the type of wound that didn’t cause further pain.
Triple ABX ointment comes to mind for anything where skin is torn. Or Biozide gel - betadine in gel form.
Alumaspray forms a waterproof barrier.
I used Swat on the fly bites my gelding rubbed raw.
Bag Balm is good too, if messy.
I used to use that years ago and it worked really well on wounds that wouldn’t heal. And it kept the flies away. Now I’ve moved onto other treatments and haven’t looked for that. Maybe it was too irritating and people stopped buy it.
It’s still available here - I just replaced a 25+ year old spray bottle not too long ago. Rarely need it, but it’s great stuff.
I have looked online and it’s marked as Not available and Discontinued everywhere. I also checked the web site shown on the bottle and it’s gone and even called the 1800# and it’s not them. I think they are out of business!

Did anyone ever figure out what happened to schreiners?? That shit is magical and I legit shed a tear when I tried to find some earlier and found it discontinued. I’ve used it for like 20 years
