How do I perform a search on forums using a keyword? I am sure it’s right in the front of my face, but…no luck.

On a PC, its over to the right above the ads, under the FB, Twitter, Instagram buttons. Just type your keywords in the “Search Forum” box and click the [SEARCH] button.

I don’t know why it is so hard to see, but when someone tells you, then you can’t quit seeing it right there?
Plenty have asked, may be an optical illusion.
There’s also a link for the advanced search right under the general search box…that can tend to work better than whatever the algorithm is for the general search!

The Advanced Search is almost always the only search I use
I like being able to select the forums to search when I’m looking for something…

Now I can’t find the search button… I’m on a PC using Chrome and I don’t even have the ads, FB, Twitter, Instagram buttons. (just checked Microsoft Edge and it looks the same). The only place “Search” shows up is within each thread

You’re not going crazy. Now that you point it out, I see the ad bar on the right side of the screen is blank for me too. I’ll send a message to the developers. Thanks!

And loosing the ad bar is a bad thing??? :lol: (Yes, I know its importance but I sure am not missing the temptations offered therein 
).
I just went to search, thought I was ALSO losing my mind… Thankfully not the only one who noticed :lol:
They may be working on that.
The whole right side column is blank for me, every page.

Based on another member’s suggestion, I don’t even use the search feature here. I get a more accurate result if I google what I’m looking for and add “chronicle forum”.

The right side column is back now, search tab included.
I do not see it.
I also do not need it so I am not worried, just passing along the fact that I do not see it.
Yes, they may be working on that again, is gone now, that right side blank.
Probably will be on and off as they tweak on it.

I access 95% of the time on mobile, and it seems that platform is unaffected. When I popped on the computer a day or so ago, search was there, but the green background didn’t cascade to the bottom. Must have caught it in an “on” moment!

Using @Simkie’s link, the search returns a database error. And still no right sidebar (no ads, no search button, etc.). Hmm.
Have you cleared cookies and restarted your browser (or tried a different browser)?
Right now, I don’t see “stuff” on the right but a right click on Simkie’s link does bring me to the Advanced Search page.
Yep, again the right hand column is blank.
Guess they are working on it again?
