Hmmm…I tried a search and it worked for me, so it’s not entirely screwed up! :lol:
Are you doing a search for words in a title or contained in posts? If it’s a search for a common word contained in a post, it could be getting bogged down because there are so many threads/posts to sift through.
Or you may have tried a search when we had a lot of visitors that was slowing down the site in general. Was the board functioning well otherwise for you at that time? If it was slow while you were just viewing threads, etc., the problem probably just relates to the general “load” issues we’ve been having and will hopefully be resolved when we get our server situation optimized.
SakHill, if you get a chance, try a search when the board’s not busy, and report back with how it worked.
