Searching for a dressage trainer near ALBANY, GEORGIA

Hello All!
I am a dressage trainer in CT and I have a dear friend moving to Albany, GA. I am looking for recommendations for a good dressage trainer. This person MUST place an emphasis on good basics and be able to handle a spry (not mean) young warmblood gelding that has had a bit of a backward start. Also must be good with a timid adult amateur. Wonderful person… just lacks confidence and is timid.
Please recommend people or tell me who to run FAR FAR away from!
email me at alloritta@yahoo.com if you want to stay private.

Appreciate all feedback!!!

Does she have a trailer? Alpharetta has a ton of options that may not be feasible for daily training but definitely check out that area for clinics or sending out for training.

What level is your friend? I know a trainer about 25 miles from there that has ridden to PSG, but does most of his showing of client horses at lower levels. PM me if you want his contact info.

I also have a friend in Tifton who is currently showing at Fourth Level, but she is an amateur. She told me last year that there really aren’t dressage instructors in that area. She ends up trailering out fairly frequently for clinics - to Alpharetta, to Ocala, etc.

Jill Turner Williams is in the Albany area and is an excellent rider. I am not sure whether or not she is teaching but she has in the past. She was an advanced event rider and is currently successfully showing at Grand Prix in USDF shows.

She is intro level if that. She has a hunter jumper background and is very new to dressage. She needs someone to take her back to the beginning with the training scale. She is capable and has a lovely natural position. Thank you for your help!
