My package arrived today, my elf has impeccable timing! All the gifts were opened as soon as I got the box in the door. What can I say, I’m not patient when if comes to opening gifts 
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! The tack sponge and leather conditioner will be well used. I may have just sat and whiffed in the glorious smell of the Effax Lederbalsam for a few seconds! The bucket straps will come in handy, as will the trailer organizer. The safety tie will be great too, since the horses have unintentionally undone the ones I currently use. This one is a lot harder to open/close so hopefully that won’t happen anymore. And of course you can’t go wrong with socks and cookies for the horses! Every gift was so thoughtful. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. 
The identity of my elf remains anonymous but they used the most adorable unicorn wrapping paper!

OMG, OMG, my elf is on crack.
First of all, her timing is impeccable - there was a box in my mailbox today.

Our elves must be on the same stuff since mine were individually wrapped too! Good on you for waiting to open them, instead of tearing them open like an over-excited child as soon as the box was open.

I’m barnsitting and I went home today today to feed the squirrels (I know, I know) chipmunks and birds this morning since the temps wouldn’t rise above freezing all day. I also used hot water to get the ice out out their water bowls and filled them with hot water. I left a smorgasbord for the rodents and the birds. Yeah, I’m a sucker.
I noticed my horse was free when I was dressing to feed this morning, which was fine (the property is fenced and gated). I normally let him self-graze for an hour or so after riding because the grass is better outside of his pasture than in it (different varieties). I guess I didn’t latch his run-in and he opened the door, and I noticed him walking out after he undoubtedly went in to drink water. I let him self-graze an hour before dinner as well. Merry Christmas! (I taught him to lead unhaltered by my hand on the withers-teaching groundwork is cool. Or just shake his food bucket and he walks back into his pasture from afar. He rarely interacts with other horses when self-grazing - he’s all about the grass. Or, I just call his name and he comes to me.)
This evening, I had cocktails with my friends in the pub in their barn, then dinner and wine and a very cheesy Christmas movie and wine. They are two doors down from my barn. What fun day!
Oh, I got a package todAy but I won’t open it until tomorrow! Weeeee, I cant wait!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!

Thank you for the gifts! Of course I love the Gus ornament. But the boot socks are great, too. I’ll wear the merino wool socks with my western boots at the show I’m leaving for on Tuesday. Also love the spoon/ladle rest. Red is the perfect color for my kitchen and the design is unique.
You definitely deserve an official Secret Santa Badge!

My elf didn’t reveal themself, but they are awesome!
All the gifts were wrapped, and they were perfect for me. The jigsaw puzzle and puzzle keeper are just what I needed. I had gotten a puzzle out for today but now I’ll do yours instead!
Then there’s the good set of cooking tongs and the book of Christmas cookie recipes. My whole Church will benefit from that one!
