Knitting, painting, sewing are not so much a bore, just not things I’ve done much of before.
We live in a smaller space, but anything fjord related would find a special place.
Reins! We have mecate reins in black, some kind of colorful yacht rope reins would be a nice add to our tack.
Fjords do get stains and spots! Especially ones that like to sleep in their pee, and poop sleeping leaves dots.

Yesterday I received an envelope in the mail that just said “Secret Santa” on the back. Would that be from CotH Secret Santa, anyone? Either way, I won’t be opening it until Christmas Eve.
My Secret Santa box is ready to ship, except I’m waiting for one small but important item from Etsy. Dang it! Every Christmas I get stuck in Etsy hell!
Oooh! Squeal! I am actually looking forward to what looks to be a washout rain day tomorrow to do Christmas cards and finish up hand-made gifts for the barn and this secret santa. I also just had to make myself a shopping list for things I need to finish those items and a list of gifts that are ordered but have not yet arrived. BUT, that is all I have left to do. Shopping and decorating are DONE.
My shopping is done, too. Just… waiting.
I finally had some quiet time to do cards and wrap late last night and early this morning. I have one puppy and am picking up another one at the airport on Monday, so my Christmas “fun” time is
limited.
Before anyone asks or wonders about my sanity, the answer is no. I didn’t plan to get two puppies around Christmas. It just worked out that way.

We are Schnauzer people. The one currently underfoot is a miniature that I bought as an early Christmas present for my husband. I’m a Giant Schnauzer kind of gal, so that’s the one that’s coming with a flight nanny on Monday. That was supposed to be a late Christmas present to myself. Let’s just say the timing ended up a little off due to unforeseen circumstances.

@EADoug Please know that your gifts are coming to me here because the reindeer apparently aren’t in good enough shape to directly ship to your home. They went overboard at Thanksgiving, it seems, and they STILL had Halloween candy. I will give the reindeer time to get more fit (Santa has them on Peloton treadmill workouts) and you will get your gifts closer to the magical date.

Did I order it???” Once I read the statement that it was a gift from you I did NOT open the bag!!! I will not until Christmas! Just letting you know that I received it but I will not look at it until Christmas!

Hahaha! I, too, am looking forward to the washout rain day tomorrow for many of the same reasons you are. I need to decorate and I need to shop, so you are ahead of me on that!!
I love your holiday spirit and commitment! I’ll mark a little spot under the tree with a ‘reserved’ sign.
Im glad it arrived safe and sound! You are much more patient than I am with these sorts of things 
I’m usually right in there ripping and tearing the minute things arrive.

I cannot figure out how to create an alter account, so I am going to be as vague as I can be.
My giftee should have their package by mid week.

Here’s a vague message for my giftee. Your box will be mailed tomorrow. I wish the budget had allowed for more than $35, but the things that are in there will be enjoyed and useful, I think. Sorry to any critters who got left out. I was considering supplemental critter shopping today as a last minute addition of more critter stuff, though I’m already at the limit. However, when I was at the pet store today, I realized that I was underestimating the price of the preferences of said critters. I couldn’t fit more critter stuff on. The box leaving tomorrow is mostly for the human with a small amount of critter stuff, and I hope it will be helpful.
To my elf: Whatever I get, whenever I get it, I will not wait until Christmas to open. 
I admire the patience of all these “I’ll wait for Christmas” folks, but I’m not one of them.

. There is a fragile item involved but it should be well protected. Some items are individually wrapped with tissue paper and others are not, but nothing is perishable if you want to wait to open it.
