I’m glad you liked the sculpture and your other gifts. I’m also glad to hear your elf’s taste in gifts is infinitely better than her handwriting because I am, in fact, not Horsefarie! Unless she also sent you a gift and we somehow managed to shop alike.
Though I agree she is total awesomeness for having recruited 4+ boxes of donations last summer for the Saddleup for St Jude fundraiser.
I was thinking I hadn’t left myself enough room at the end of that postcard for writing my name……We’ve all had lots of Secret Santa laughs on COTH over the years. I might just have come up with something new - being the first elf to muff outing myself due to needing remedial penmanship lessons! No wonder the Odie donk lookalike on that postcard was laughing.

Home base in VA reports that your present has arrived safely. I will be home in early to mid January to open it. This year I get to trade willpower for (lack of) a plane ticket.
I wanted to hold out. I did. I DID!!! But I didn’t! Zonderpaard, you are freakin’ amazing! OMG, I got a burgundy silk scarf which appears to be from the Vienna Riding School in Austria! It has little levades all over it! It is sooooo beautiful!!! And, I got a keychain apparently from said school. As a dressage rider in America, it is difficult to convey how much I love these items! They inspire me (and burgundy is one of my fave colors!! I’m deciding that it’s one of my horse’s colors). IN ADDITION, I got human treats! Belgian chocolates… Oh. My. God. Yummmmmmm. Plus hard candies with a soft inside that seem hazlenut? I can’t pronounce or interpret the wrapper. I had to aliquot these for myself because they were sooooooooooooooooooo good. I mean, these were excellent treats. What were they Zonderpaard? I’m not ashamed to say that I didn’t share these treats with anyone, but I showed people the scarf (wore it to work on Monday and totally said “It came from Austria”) and am using the keychain on my keys now.

LovelyBay - the first package was lovely and I’m lookikng longingly at the box, but holding out so far. I love COTHSS. None of my family gets me horsey things so it is really fun to get such great stuff. I’ll post again after I open the next box. I love everything!! The bag is PERFECT - way roomier than what I’m currently using, and it’s so pretty - totally my style. And how did you know I needed an umbrella? It’s supposed to rain on Christmas Eve out here so it’s just in time. I love that it’s from a barn - do you board/train/work there? And the socks! SO COZY! And candy for me! CANDY!! I walked out of my house this morning at 7:30am just as the USPS driver was stopping in front of my house, and he handed me your box! I went right back inside and put it under the tree - I’m opening presents on 12/23 before I travel for the holidays.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling to well, migraines are the worst.
I checked my email, but I blindly delete things that land in spam. There was a Fed ex email about package delivery failure? I will have to check that out tomorrow, I am on my tablet now.

Yes the scarf and key ring are from the SRS. They have the NICEST gift shop in town (and we have a few) I have one of those scarves and love it as well.
The treats, lemme think. Remember the thread about nuts? The gold ones in the bag are (or should I say WERE?) chocolate with marzipan in the middle, covered with an almond candy coating. They are fabulous, I agree. The Mozart kugeln are probably the top souvenir treat–pistachio, marzipan and nougat. They are from Salzburg. (Mozart is fully merchandised here :lol:)
