I have to admit, I’ve been in the “waiting for an item to category” in my super secret elf persona. As the recipient, I’m just thrilled to be able to participate, so I don’t really care when my gift arrives 
I truly appreciate the time and effort that my Secret Santa takes, and I certainly understand that life happens – no use in getting upset by it.
My box arrived today! It is safely tucked under the tree and awaiting my gift opening on the 23rd. Thanks!
Now I am very confused. I got the original package that said COTH SS, which I opened and previously reported on. Now another box has come that says S.S. on the return and DO NOT OPEN TIL XMAS! Do I have two Santas? Am I just generally confused? Did my SS send me two separate packages. Dear elf, help me out here.

LOL. I ordered something from eBay (and promptly forgot that I had ordered the item!). It arrived yesterday — from Wellington, FL!! Only a horse person would notice the return address and freeze, thinking "OMG, is this my COTH SS, and the other box is . . . what? I wanted to wait, but maybe I’m waiting on the wrong box . . . " :eek:
DH looked at me like I was nuts as I was standing there dithering. “Why the h#ll don’t you open both boxes and find out?”
Clearly, he does not understand the sacred COTH SS ritual of waiting until Christmas. :winkgrin:

Speaking as a bad elf,
I ran into a small financial crisis at the end in November (ie. bank locked my card). It finally unlocked and reI orded, but then the big man never told me it was time to pick up my SS final gift. :eek: So, I picked it up Sunday (after calling) and added finishing touches. I was going to ship it yesterday, but I got off work after the sleigh had already left. My gift goes out today to Murphy’s Mom.
SS has been a cluster for this elf, this year. I did send my giftee something small in November to “pad” since I knew I would be later. She seems to forgive me, a lot.

Believe me, I was not “shaming elves” as stuff always happens. Just curious. Having an “A” type personality, definitely has All of the opposite drawbacks.

I just read through my Secret Santa thing and realized it was WAY back in September that I wrote it. I had been hoping to show the Western Pleasure ponies at that time. Well, I have! I’ve been to three shows so far and this past weekend we won High Point Just thought I’d update since I saw that in my original email.

Patience! I sent some cookies to a fellow COTHer who was having a down time very recently and even though I sent it priority mail with tracking, it took 4 weeks to get to her. Obviously, since they were cookies, I’m going to have to try again…
Still looking at my box. There’s something really amazing about the “holiday spirit” and the anticipation. I only put up my holiday lights last weekend and am only now feeling like a holiday is coming up!

I too ran into some financial trouble (I was a Nanny and the family moved) and had to talk the big guy (Hubby) into letting me borrow money to send my giftee some things. I had to wait til his payday. So to my giftee your items are on the way…There will be 4 shipments from my helper elf (Amazon) with one coming perhaps a little past christmas. Box one should arrive on the 19th and the rest there after.

I completely understand how life can get in the way. Personally, I usually just forget. I’ve had more than my share of Murphy induced concussions. :yes:
However…hate to tell you, but I never got anything in November. :no: Well, I did get a new Toy Fox Terrier puppy to harass the Cattle Dogs, but I don’t think that was your doing. When and how was it sent? If in an envelope it might be lost in the pile that is my dining room table. :lol:
I JUST sent the last package to my receiptent today. It says December 22 to arrive so I will be tracking through post office. I sent a good amount of stuff through a helper (amazon). This was just stuff specific to where I live.

OH NO.
I will have to look at the exact date, but it was in November! It will more than likely be in an envelope. It was supposed to have a riddle to guess your next gift, which is expected by the 23rd!
Please let me know if you dont find the little gift! I will be calling my helper elf, if not!
