Yes to WIFI- it should reach all of the areas around the barn where I’d put the cameras. No to power
I have a solar powered Eufy on the cabin. Wifi supported, plus a couple that plug in. Motion and sound sensitivity can be adjusted on the fly via the app. All have the ability to record and alert me.
I’ve been very happy with them. The app is intuitive and simple.
You have a lot of options. I really like my Eufy cameras–they’re a nice balance of price & options. They make cams with a built in solar panel, if you have direct sun & don’t want to bother with taking cameras down to charge.
The one caveat, which may not apply, is I can’t get my eufy cams to connect to my multi band wifi. I run a dedicated 2.4ghz network just for them. It may be because my cams are a few years old.
I also run Arlo, which are fine. I prefer the eufy interface, and eufy are less expensive. My eufy solar panel cams continue to charge and function all winter, where my Arlo cams on solar crap out due to temp for a few months.
I don’t pay a fee for either. Everything is accessible via phone, and you can download any clips you want to keep.
