Is anyone else receiving a security cert warning when accessing the forums from Chrome? The message is “NET::ERR_CERT_SYMANTEC_LEGACY.” I am getting the message on my phone - Samsung Galaxy S8 with Chrome 70.0.3538.80 and Android 8.0. It does look like some Symantec certs are distrusted under Chrome 70.
You should be getting that error on any site that begins with httpS://
I don’t think COTH has an expired certificate but your Symantec software may be outdated.
The reason I said that is the word “legacy” which Symantec uses when referring to its own outdated versions of itself.
So far this is the only secure site giving me the error.
And when I do check the URL (at least when this topic is displayed) it shows an https: URL…

Chrome 66 beta distrusts all Symantec SSL/TLS certificates issued before June 1, 2016. Google plans to release the public version on April 17, 2018.
A website that has a Symantec SSL/TLS certificate issued before June 1, 2016 will display the below error when accessed via Chrome 66 beta:
NET::ERR_CERT_SYMANTEC_LEGACY"
So, Coth has a certificate from Symantec that’s outdated, I’m not near a PC so can’t check.
I alerted the MOD to check it in case it is.

I informed the developers… thanks ladies.
Thanks all.
Just wanted to update to say that I am no longer receiving the warning. Thanks again!
Thanks everyone… sounds like they ticked this one off the list!
