I am located in St. Joseph, MO for work (45 min north of Kansas City) and am dying for a place to go ride. I have all of my experience in show jumping and hunt seat riding, but would really like to try some western-type disciplines to broaden my horizons this summer. I have ridden both horsemanship-type and reining horses but would consider myself a novice in these areas.
I am looking for somewhere semi-relaxed in the general Kansas City area that teaches lessons and/or has horses that need exercised. I am looking to keep riding while in this temporary location.
