Here are the facts about our barn and needs:

40 tons needed (total) for 2010-2011 season. We start feeding the year’s hay in Aug/Sept when the pastures are eaten down, and feed through April. We are set through April '10.

Majority of horses do fine on local (western WA) grass hay as long as it is good quality.

Would like to get 8-10 tons of the 40 in alfalfa for the hard keepers.

Delivery would be preferable but pick-up of some is not out of question.

We have hay elevator.
I’m looking for a good reliable supplier. Someone who I could trust to pay up front if the delivery or pick-up will take a few months to accomplish. I understand that I’d have to pay to ensure it’s not sold to others.
Conversely, I am open to splitting/sharing a semi load with a local COTHer. Actually open to at least discussing just about anything!
