Rescued a Percheron (possible crossed with something else) mare. She is a very dark bay almost black. Vet guessed to be around 10 years old. Came from the NC/SC border area. Was supposely purchased from a man getting out of the draft business and switching to mules in the Raleigh, NC area back in 2009 (maybe 2008). She was purchased pregnant (or so claimed previous owners, she did have a colt with them). I highly suspect she came from the PMU farms… and even have a lead on her brand but have not gotten a response from the brand owners. 
Would love to find out who she is, where she came from, her birth date, and any training or jobs she may have done.
