Hi there. I’m seeking an awesome show jumping stallion for my 2009 Cathalido/Lansing mare to breed in the spring. She is big, talented, smart, and has a great temperament. I’m looking for a stallion to complement her bloodlines, something that is extremely scopey, light, and has a good mind for amateur riders. Any suggestions?
Ask the girls from Silver Creek…they can steer you the right direction
Based on needs: Dakota VDL, Vegas, Imothep, Obourg, Orbatello…
Cheers
Vallado would be very interesting on her given what the cross produced when he was bred to your mares dam.

I would absolutely put Vallado or one of the other Now or Never stallions first on your list (i.e. Valentino or his son Viscount). We have had great success with these bloodlines on our Holsteiner mares, especially with her dam, Rexana. The mind and rideability is just incredible. Do something special with this mare. Her dam is an amazing producer (her two oldest offspring are approved stallions), Cathalido is definitely an outstanding mare producer, and this is the only daughter from Rexana. Make the right cross and you should have something very special.
