Seeking tips for removing hair from saddle pads before washing

I use a dog/cat “slicker” brush similar to this one.

That is what we have used for decades, gently, when dry.
Works great to take horse hair off any kind of pad.
Then shake it or hit it on something solid like we shake a rug.
Vacuuming it then would also work.

I use a Slick N Groom - I think that’s what it’s called, they sell them at Dover and other places for a few $. It’s like a black pumice stone type block that’s for grooming - but I mainly use it to remove saddle pad hairs, does a pretty good job

I also use the slick n’ easy grooming blocks for removing hair. They work great, don’t cost a lot, and don’t seem to pull at the saddle pad fibers.
