I am possibly adopting a standardbred from the retirement foundation. Would like to do a ppe before purchase. Does anyone know any good vets in the area? And how do you do a ppe when you are not there?

Foundation Equine Vet Practice travels to that area. If not present ant PPE vet will discuss what you want done. Usually they will call after basic exam and before x-rays if you are doing them, etc.

No suggestions, but if you decide to get the horse, please share gotcha pictures! I love a good Standardbred.
For that area, try Mid-Atlantic. Dr. Kyle Clark has vetted several that I’ve sold and has always been extremely kind, knowledgeable, and fair.

That’s pretty far away. Use Foundation Equine, Colts Neck Equine, or Coastal Elite.
