Hi everyone, I got a pair of Sergio Grasso boots and the zipper slider broke off. I’ve tried everything, including reaching out to the brand themselves and they no longer manufacture the zipper. There are no universal zippers that would fit because the zipper is Italian. I was wondering if anyone had an old/broken pair of Sergio Grasso’s and was willing to part with the zipper slide. This is my last attempt to save my boots! The exact zipper I need is OPTI B and it should say on the back side of the zipper. I would pay for the convenience of not having to replace the entire thing.
There is a website called Opti Group based in Europe. There is also a German company selling Opti zippers on Ebay. Good luck.
Have you considered getting the entire zipper replaced?
