Has anyone heard of Serraquin ES15? It’s a supplement that is apparently a miracle cure for arthritic conditions such as ringbone. The ads claim that it works, but I can’t find any data. Has anyone heard of it.
I looked at the website. If you click on “clinical studies” there is no mention of a specific study or any links to any clinical studies available. The “equine inflammation” section under “clinical studies” talks about human patients in Germany showing a significant reduction in inflammation but no study linked and no connection to equines.
There is a mention of a case study, done in India on 6 horses who had “non-specific lameness” and 5 of the 6 got better. No mention of a control group so there is no way to determine if this product helped or not, based on the description.
The only “articles” I see look like press releases.
I am skeptical about this without any further evidence. Maybe you could contact the company and ask for copies of the clinical studies they mention, to have your vet review?
