Sexing kittens?

![](s anyone super stellar at sexing kittens? I thought these three were boys and now I’m not sure  They’re about four weeks old. Orphans found by a friend, raising them here until a rescue can take them for placement.

I can tell you but I need better pictures. Turn the cats right side up, hold the tail up and shoot the area under.

Hard to say - if it looks like an upside down exclamation mark it’s a girl. Two dots and it’s a boy. They look very scruffy poor little critters. Hopefully time under your care will get them looking better. Though the two black ones look like they might be full of mischief.

I could sex them as well but their bits are wet and the fur flattened down so impossible to tell from those pictures, especially if they’re under 8 weeks old. When I took Bird and Dizzy in to the vet on the day I picked them up I told her I had two males, she said she thinks one of them was female and that it was too early to tell…I have two males. I prefer holding them on their backs with their bum in my hand then gently pulling the tail down, I find it stretches the area out a bit better.

I like this page a lot better as it has actual pictures of kittens and a few different methods. But no, I’m still not sure.

I’ll try to get more kitten bits pictures this afternoon. They are wiggly!

Had a cat named Walter. He ran away when he was a couple of months old. He came back weeks later and I thought someone had him fixed. Then he had kittens. Obviously, I cannot help you.

Kitten one definitely looks female to me, if I had to guess I would guess that two and three are male.

They are numbered the same as the original post.

The little tabby is adorable! Did you notice he/she/? has a double M? I wonder if that means double trouble. The one little black one that looks like he might have food on his nose seems braver than the other - he’s always in the forefront. (I say he but I’m totally guessing.)

…that one is in front often because (SHHHHHHH) it’s my favorite. That kitten is actually the most reserved. That also makes it tough to get pics of the other two as they’re usually off getting into trouble instead of sitting for pics.

But I’m momma to all so they call come running when I come in. <3 <3

I never saw that. What favorite kitten? Where? He looks so serious. How long have you had them?

Those are horns, not a double M. Beware!!

I won’t bet against you. But if you look very closely it looks like a wolf face, too. Wonder what THAT means?

At least it’s easier than sexing beavers!

Those all look like boy bits to me but it’s hard to tell with all the fluff and wiggling!

RIGHT?!
