I love those pumice like shedding blocks once the mud is off. My favorite tool, tho, is the little canister vacuum (about $60)with a curry- like grooming head. BEST job on dried on mud, and works a treat in shedding season. It prevents the suffocating clouds of hair and mud, and is very quick!

I absolutely love the Equigroomer. I bought the smaller 5" one for maybe $15 on Amazon. It fits better in my hand than the larger one. Works beautifully, and leaves a wonderfully smooth and shiny coat! My horse loves it on his blaze… gets all the itchy spots! :lol:
