Shelter size for mini donkeys?

I’m thinking about building a simple shelter for my mini-donkey. How large should it be? Is 8x8 enough space? This one is 8x8 and seems pretty big.

I only have one donk at the moment but I would like to make it big enough for two because I can only see so many of TheJenners’s posts before I cave.

8x8 is plenty big even for 2-3. Ours share the big horse buildings, but have their own 8x8 about 5’ tall…for people access!! ps…Donkeys hate rain…wind and snow too!! Last winter I blanketed my 30 yo. Jack. He quickly learned to LOVE it after he figured out it wasn’t a straight jacket!! Hated when I took it off!!
