I think I’m searching using the wrong terms. I’m looking for a saddle pad with a square edge, not a swallow tail - the swallow tail overwhelms her. White, no piping or white piping. Help? [see photo from recent COTH article for example of what I’m looking for shape wise]
Dressage Extensions has many choices that are not swallowtail
I’m not seeing anything that isn’t labeled as “long” (wont work on a 16h narrow TB), or has colored piping, or embroidery, or $120 because it has wool.

Look up PRI saddle pads - they are reasonably priced, come in all color combinations, and fit a normal to smaller sized horse (I have 15.2 hand and 14.1 hand mounts). Some of the other brands are made for BIG horses. I stick with PRI mostly because I know they won’t overwhelm my horses. AND I can get everything from plain white to purple…

Look up Fenwick Bamboo pads. They have lovely pads with wicking, wash easily, no slip, square in different sizes for dressage.
A second for PRI. They do great no-nonsense pads that wear like iron, don’t look ridiculous on smaller horses (mine is just north of 15hh), and come in a variety of basic shapes (rounded corners, squared corner, swallow tail).

I have a pair of Horze pads. The white and white/silver are currently on sale for $13.99 each. At that price they can become schooling pads if you hate them. My OTTB is a petite 16.1 with a short back. I don’t feel like the pads I have overwhelm him.

Check out the Weatherbeeta Prolux dressage. It looks swallow tail-ish in the pictures, but it’s not and is quite square. I have a very compact horse that it works well on. I’m not 100% sure of the color selection.
VTO Saddlery! They run around $40 - really can’t beat the price and quality…
OMG, was just browsing around - I don’t know anything about The Cheshire Horse, but they have a bunch of them for $31.95, and 10% off for Labor Day weekend. I may buy more -because 20 saddle pads just isn’t enough:lol:

That type of corner is sometimes called a “flag corner”.
