Shopping in Denmark?

I have to go to Denmark for work for about 3 weeks in the spring / early summer.

Does anyone know anything about the horse market in Denmark? I have been shopping online, and it appears to me that there are reasonably priced, honest, 1.15 - 1.2 meter jumpers spread around the country. Is there an area that is particularly horsey? Is Denmark more focused on dressage than show jumping?

No help, but my new one just got here from Denmark. He was a 1.15/1.2m guy, he’s my new hunter! I’m probably going to overface him by doing my 2’6-2’9 courses, but it’s a risk I’ll take haha!

I have bought two in Denmark. It was awhile ago but I went by myself and set up appointments around Jutland and drove from farm to farm and had a blast. You can easily fly to Jutland from Amsterdam or Copenhagen. I ended up buying one I had seen online from Bjarne Mark at Stald BM in Lemvig (northern Jutland - website is in Danish but he and his wife Janni both speak perfect English) but he also arranged for me to see a bunch more in the area, some of which weren’t advertised. If you email him he will probably help you out if you want to look in the north and would like a local contact. There are also a ton of barns near Randers, which is central Jutland. I remember that there were some barns north of Copenhagen but the prices seemed to be higher so I just looked in Jutland.

Strapless was a Danish import.
