Short Diagonal Line measurment

Hi,
I have been searching for this, and can’t seem to find the answer. Example, E to F, E to M ect. How long, meters or feet is this line?
Thanks.

Well math says: A^2 + B^2 = C^2. So let’s call A the width of the arena 20m, B is the height of the triangle, distance from K to E for example, which is 24m. So 20^2 + 24^2= 976 take the square root of that to get 31.24 m

{edit to note that this is for a large arena}

Isn’t the distance from the corner to E 30m? (6m from end of arena to K, then 12 m from K to V and 12m from V to E = 1/2 of a 60 m ring) It’s a smidge more than 36m.

Yes, but the diagonal is from letter to letter, not the corner to the letter.
