Hey Y’all,
I just wanted to bring some awareness around a new project I’ve been working on - the Show Hors-e Association.
I show at a breed show level, and one of the challenges that myself and many exhibitors have come across is the lack of actionable feedback from horse shows. We’re working on a new format in an attempt to change that and bring more education into horse showing.
Starting today, we’ve opened this month’s entries for a wide variety of classes shown in a digital format. Pattern classes, flat classes, even a driving class was requested and we’ve done our best to accommodate them all. Our judges will be reviewing, scoring, and providing feedback (what you did well, where to focus homework, etc) to all exhibitors when entries close. We’ve tried to put together patterns that can be set up with minimal equipment at home and we’ve tried to keep costs low.
If you’re interested in participating, we have more information on our website: www.showhors-e.com and you can also sign up for our email list for future showbills and dates.
We would love to see folks from around the country (and internationally!) participate - no ownership or breed requirements necessary.
