Show jumping barns in Calgary?

I’m moving back to Calgary after being out of the scene for 10 years so I’m looking for recommendations on barns that would suit my long term goals. Preferably on the West side and not too far from the city.

I used to show 1.30m and once I get my skills back I’d like to buy a young prospect I can bring up to show 1.30/1.40m. So i’m looking for someone can train me to that level who’s also great with young horses/has access to nice quality prospects. Bonus points if the facility has trails!

I would check out Ashley Charity at NewView Stables or Julie Pollard at Bow Canyon Equestrian.

Agree! We have lots of barns around here,depending on what partly of l the city you’re in! If you’re close to okotoks there’s also Jenn Timms at Twin Valley Equestrian….dayton gorsline and Lisa Carlson are also out near okotoks! Frank selinger is on the south side! Also in tone south there’s iron stone barn (Andrew more) expensive but they’re very good! Teesdale equestrian center in the south (huge school string) and now owned by Jenna Thompson who has ridden for Canada previously!

My advise visit a few and see which ones gel with you!
