So excited for today’s final! Thankfully have half day at work so I can focus 100% attention on second round today 
I will definitely be cheering on Eric Lamaze and Fine Lady today, and the rest of the Canadian riders, but I really would be cool with McLain Ward (one of my favourite riders) winning gold today

I have to cheer for Nick Skelton…7 Olympic games at age 58 is impressive! Plus, I adore how cranky he always looks, but the big smile at the end of his round today was precious.
MMB is high on my list, too. Having a woman take gold would be fabulous, but honestly be happy to have anyone riding a Swedish horse end up in the top three.
You have to wonder if the extra jumping from the jump-off between Germany and Canada will be a factor today…

And he shed a bunch of weight and got into shape for this games. He is trying so hard. I just love it! He was one of my favorites when I first started following show jumping at a very young age. I always have to root for him.
