Show Jumping!

Maybe they had it on a timer. So excited for US and annoyed I didn’t get to see it!

Awesome! thanks for the updates guys!

From my broadcasting background I can say we probably had the satellite through 5pm. Usually however there is a way to extend it in live sport situations.

If you’re paying attention.

maybe they only had satellite for that shut off time. who knows?

Thanks, you all who kept us updated!

THANK YOU!!! Wow, McLain’s round must have been a sight to see. Wow. I hope they post that one.

Thank you all, guess we’ll all have to watch the replay tonight

Live results from Longines was down too! I went there after watching Malin’s last jump about three times. Then I came here. Thanks all for keeping us updated!

I want my money back from FEI TV. I can’t BELIEVE I missed that.

Woohoo! Thanks everyone. I look forward to the Replay which FEI TV better let us watch! Up until 5pm I was ready to recant my prior bad statements re: FEI TV.

I specifically switched from Olympic TV to the live feed fearing that Olympic TV would cut off at 5 as programmed. I can’t believe FEI TV was the offender. I was able to get back to the TV feed just in time (oh the joy of cable streaming TV - nothing happens quickly) to see McLain’s ride.

Wish we could have seen it…I wonder if we all pitched in another buck to FEI TV they could have paid for a little more satellite time… Did they not anticipate a jump off could possibly occur??? Grrrr…

I was watching it on NBC’s Olympic Channel stream and there was no interruption of the feed at all.

NBC Olympic channel has been great, and I didn’t even know I had it on my TV till I did a search.

Literally the most exciting thing to happen for spectators during this Games and the paid live stream ends before anyone sees it! I can’t believe it.

Especially through show jumping. Even though they get a couple horses behind due to commercial breaks, they have shown every ride. You don’t get the 15 minute drag break - that’s where they get caught up - but you still get to see all the rides.

I liked the FEI TV for eventing - there was less picking and choosing who we got to see than the TV version.

Same here!

NBC Sports network will re-run at 9:30 pm MDT. Late (11:30pm) for the Eastern folks I know.

Thank you so much for keeping us up to date Canterwell et al. The live scoring was down.

Well done U.S.A. The team must be thrilled!

FEI is live again, and you can rewind to the end of McLains round and see the medal ceremony! I’m watching now. They don’t go back to the jumping but can watch medals.
