What a nail biting final to the team showjumping event at WEG last night.
It went down to a thrilling jump-off, and USA just piped Sweden at the post to take Gold.

Okay, I finally got to watch the whole jump off and the awards ceremony on FEI TV. Even knowing the outcome, it was exciting to watch. And I love the victory stroll rather than the victory gallop! Those horses earned that walk. Brilliant.

It looks to me like the final day of show jumping will be severely limited on TV. Doesn’t look like the Olympic Channel nor NBCSN will have anything and NBC will have coverage starting at noon ET.
Well, if it is limited to 20 riders, it won’t take long. Maybe NBC will show it, just not live. Remember, this is Sunday, and that is football day, Can’t get in the way of football…

I just checked and sure enough - it’s on NBC at noon (shockingly); I had thought the Olympic Channel would be showing it, but nothing

Yep…on FEI TV. I thought it was 25 riders now, then another session with top 12 later today. ETA 12:35 I think they said for the top 12.)

I LOVE all the good, brave mares at the top level; they are remarkable. It’s hard to find the “bottom” of a great mare, they just keep trying for you.
In the top 12, more than half are mares!, and they still seem remarkably fresh :love-struck:

@ParadoxFarm - what will NBC be televising if they (Fei TV) will be going live (with the top twelve) at 12:25?
These horses must be FIT to look so good after so many jumping efforts; hats off to their conditioning program 
OTOH, these are the world’s very best, so you start with exceptional talent right out of the box.
