King Edward’s #1 fan girl after these games!!! I’m ready to pack my bags and move to Sweden. Or at least celebrate with a trip to IKEA.

There was also an Argentine horse, Emir. First to go in the team final. I feel like if I used a ton of saddle-tite and grabbed mane, he would have taken care of me around the course. That has to be the quietest Grand Prix jumper I have ever seen.

Those two horses were amazing. I loved the way Emir galloped around the course on a loose rein and got to every fence in stride. I also thought that Peder Fredricson rode a very smooth jump off ride on All In. McLain pulled out a lot of stops (and Contagious was fresh, having not competed in the earlier events), but All In just got the job done.

I want to have Emir as an equitation horse. I had to chuckle at Lucinda calling hid way of going lackadaisical. Looks like my kind of horse! Lol! Meanwhile, I probably couldn’t jump Baloutine over a crossrail with any competence.

There was one HUGE disappointment in the show jumping for me: no Godzilla-themed jump.

They could have had a jump with Godzilla on one side and the sumo wrestler on the other side, so the horses would not be inclined to go anywhere but straight down the middle. Lol.
